Women's Counselling

Why Women's Counselling?

If you feel constantly overwhelmed with the demands of daily life as a woman in Singapore, you may be dealing with anything from juggling parenting demands with career aspirations, to addressing health concerns and hormonal changes. You’re not alone.

Research from the Singapore Mental Health Study shows that women are more likely than men to experience mental health issues like depression and anxiety. In part, this is due to the competing demands on women’s time and energy, including being perceived as primary caregivers to children and parents alike.  In a fast-paced urban lifestyle, taking time away from responsibilities to address emotional issues and mental health challenges can also be seen as a luxury, or a “nice to have.”

The reality is, you can’t pour from an empty cup, and you deserve to create a reality in which you thrive — not just “get by.” At New Leaf Counselling, we are devoted to providing comprehensive support for women as they navigate the diverse challenges of their everyday lives, whether they are full-time working professionals, caretakers, parents, or a mix of those roles.  Our specialised Women’s Counselling services are designed to support you as you fulfil the responsibilities of  being a partner, mother, daughter, professional, or friend.
